Dear Milford Students, Parents, and Community Members,
 
The search for the next Milford High School Principal is officially underway, and I invite your participation in this important process. Your voices, as students, families, staff, and community partners, are essential in helping us identify the right leader for our high school.
 
This week, we appointed Mrs. Miller, MHS Assistant Principal, and Mr. Christensen, Director of School Counseling, as co-chairs of the Principal Search Committee. I am grateful for their leadership in guiding this work.
 
We are currently assembling a search committee that will include a diverse group of stakeholders, including:
 
    • Milford High School staff members
       
    • A current MHS student and an incoming freshman (current 8th grader)
       
    • MHS parents
       
    • Milford community members and CTE partners
 
The committee will be responsible for:
 
    • Reviewing and selecting qualified applicants to interview
       
    • Developing a profile of the ideal candidate
       
    • Generating interview questions and competency-based scenarios
       
    • Scoring and rank-ordering candidates
       
    • Recommending 2 finalists for next steps in the process.

Committee members should be available for 2 to 4 afternoon/evening meetings. If you are interested in serving on the search committee, please reach out to Mr. Christensen and Mrs. Miller to express your interest by Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
