Dear Milford Community,
 
Please consider joining a newly established Special Advisory Committee!
 
On Tuesday evening, the Milford School Board voted to establish a Special Advisory Committee for the following purposes:
  • Evaluate enrollment trends for the District
  • Assess the capacity of each school building to meet the current and anticipated needs of students
  • Conduct a cost/benefit analysis of various scenarios to make the best use of available resources to meet student needs with the least impact to taxpayers
  • Make recommendations to the School Board for both short and long-term actions.

The committee is expected to begin meeting in May and every other month for about one year. Meetings are anticipated to last approximately 90 mins., and will be held in person in the evening.
 
We are seeking a diverse group of stakeholders, including parents, staff, and community members, to ensure a well-rounded perspective in this important work. If you think you might be interested in serving on this committee, please email Superintendent Michaud and the Milford School Board at [email protected] with a brief letter of interest by April 20, 2026.
