Hello Milford Students and Families, 

 

As another school year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you for your partnership, support, and trust throughout the year.

The end of the school year always provides an opportunity to reflect on how much our students have grown. Over the past ten months, they have learned new skills, overcome challenges, built friendships, discovered interests, and achieved milestones both large and small. Whether your child is leaving Jacques Memorial School, transitioning from Heron Pond to Milford Middle School, preparing to enter Milford High School, or has recently graduated, there is much to celebrate.

None of this happens without the support of families. Thank you for helping with homework, attending school events, communicating with teachers, cheering from the sidelines, and encouraging your children each day. The partnership between home and school is one of the most important factors in a student's success, and we are grateful for the role you play in your child's educational journey.

I also want to recognize our faculty and staff, whose dedication and care help make Milford such a special place to learn and grow. Every day, they work to create meaningful learning experiences and build the strong relationships that support student success.

As a District, we are guided by our vision of being an inspiring community where deep learning and strong relationships empower ALL students to become the designers of their own story. Throughout this year, I have seen that vision come to life in our classrooms, on our stages and athletic fields, and in the countless interactions that take place between students, staff, and families.

As summer begins, I hope your family has the opportunity to slow down, spend time together, and enjoy all that the summer has to offer. Make memories, explore new adventures, read a good book, and take time to celebrate all that your children have accomplished this year.

On behalf of the Milford School District, thank you for allowing us to be part of your child's story. We are honored to serve this community and look forward to welcoming our students back in the fall.
