UPDATE (June 20, 2025):  The Milford Middle School Cafeteria skylight has been replaced.  We went from a clear style that was installed in 1992 to the new Kalwall skylight which will not allow the solar heat gain into the cafeteria.

Summer Asbestos Abatement – Building Access Update

Hello all,

This summer, the Buildings and Grounds Department will be overseeing the removal of floor tile in various classrooms identified as containing asbestos. A map outlining the specific areas scheduled for abatement is attached for your reference.

Please be aware of the following access restrictions during the abatement period (June 16 – July 25):

  • The north hallway and a portion of the math/art hallway will be off limits.

  • The main entrance will be the only accessible entry/exit to the building.

  • All other entrances will be blocked off for safety.

  • The SAU entrance will be open only to individuals conducting business with the Business Office or the Superintendent’s Office.

Following the abatement, new floor tile will be installed in the affected classrooms.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
