Engagement and Communications 
 

Membership:

 

At least one (1) but no more than two (2) appointed Board members, Superintendent and/or designee, and up to two (2) community members (non-school affiliated), four (4) parent representatives, school-specific if possible and/or relevant personnel as determined by the Committee.

 

Purpose:

 

  • To foster and solidify positive relationships among students, families, school staff, school board, and community partnerships 
  • Identify, develop, and propose recommendations on goals to the Board for adoption and monitor progress towards achievement of the district strategic plan 
  • Identify and review communication practices for alignment between Board and Community  
  • Prepare communication to be shared with the school and non-affiliated community members.

 

Schedule:

 

Standing Sub-Committee - The Sub-Committee shall meet a minimum of once per quarter throughout the year or more often as determined necessary by the committee.

 

Reporting:

 

Board member(s) shall report activities to the School Board as appropriate.
 
Minimum of once per quarter, report to the Board regarding activities and/or recommendations of the sub-committee.
 
Committee agendas and meeting notes shall be posted in accordance with RSA 91-A to the District website.

 

Authority:

 

The Sub-Committee can make no commitments on behalf of the Board unless specifically directed otherwise by the Board.
