Class Reunions Information

Dear classmates of Milford Area Senior High School,

 

I am a classmate of yours, Alan Castellano, you might not remember me because I moved several times with my mother. I was in the Milford schools from grade 1 to 4; moved to Hooksett, NH for grades 5 & 6; then back to Milford schools for grades 7 & 8. I spent my Freshman and Sophomore years in San Antonio, Texas but returned to Milford for my Junior and Senior years. After high school I worked in Pittsfield, MA as a Ford auto mechanic; joined the U.S. Navy 1967 to 1973. Back to New Hampshire in 1973 and worked as an air traffic controller in Nashua, then cape cod and Boston. From 1984 to 2020, I was an educator on cape cod teaching high school and college. So as you see I have not been in the Milford area most of the time.

 

So why am I writing? I am interested in hosting a 60th High School Class Reunion in the summer of 2026. I know that is eight months away but the plan, if it’s going to happen, needs to start soon. It can be a weekend or weekday get together with a dinner. I am also open to other ideas. When it comes to event planning, it’s best to begin by laying out a general idea of what the event is going to entail. I don’t have the details ironed out right now, as this is a process and I am sure to make many revisions. But, before I start the process I am wondering if there is an interest in the event? I have a rough outline that will include an anticipated event date and summary, including a description of the event. I think it will benefit our class to get together and see one another again.
