Dear Milford Students, Families, and Community Members,

We welcome your participation in the interview process for the position of Principal of Milford High School ("MHS").

Beginning next week, our Human Resources Director, Micah Klayman, and Interview Committee co-chairs from MHS, will begin the formation of a committee made up of the following stakeholders:

  • MHS Administrators, Faculty, and Staff members
  • MHS Student and a current eighth (8th) grader (incoming freshman)
  • MHS Administrative Assistant/Secretary
  • Parent of a general education student
  • Parent of a special education student
  • Milford community/Applied Technology Center partner

The committee will be charged with identifying qualified applicants to invite to interview, generating interview questions and competency based scenarios, scoring/ranking interviewees, and selecting two (2) top candidates to send forward to the second round. A second round team will interview, engage in reference checking, and coordinate a public meet-and-greet.

The time commitment of the interview committee will require approximately four evenings: one evening for committee preparation, and two to three evenings to conduct interviews.

If you would like to be part of a first or second round interview team, please email HR Director, Micah Klayman, to express your interest, no later than Friday, March 11, 2022. Micah Klayman can be reached at micah.klayman (at) milfordk12.org.

Thank you for your consideration in taking part in the selection process for our next Milford High School Principal.
